Mrs. Angela Serzen

Mrs. Serzen has been teaching for over 23 years! She graduated from Utah State University and carries a teaching certificate in the state of Utah for grades six through twelve. Mrs. Serzen served as the Assistant Director at Blessed Sacrament, working in the L.R.C. for four years, and was our sixth grade teacher for 5 years, teaching 6th grade science, as well as 6th, 7th and 8th grade math, and department head.

After teaching for 9 years at Blessed Sacrament, she accepted a position at Juan Diego Catholic High School as the director of the Saint Katherine Drexel program, assisting students in need of academic support, where she also taught two classes of algebra. After 6 years, at Juan Diego, she returned to Blessed Sacrament. Currently, Mrs. Serzen is teaching middle school religion, and advanced math, and is the department head. She has also completed the University of Notre Dame STEP program, and holds a certificate in Catholic Theology.

In 2006 she was selected as one of the top 10 teachers in the diocese for Outstanding Educator. Since May of 2017, she has been enjoying her first grandson, Norman. Many of the Blessed Sacrament Staff and Parents have wonderful praise for her. Here are a few of her accolades
