Becca Moore, MSEd
Her teaching career began at a Montessori school and later at Head Start, before she returned to school to earn her teaching credential. She then taught first grade until pausing her career to focus on raising her children. Upon moving to Utah and enrolling her children in Catholic school, Mrs. Moore was eager to return to the classroom. She served briefly as a para-educator, followed by years as a Pre-K, Kindergarten, and first-grade teacher. Along the way, she earned a Master’s degree in Reading and Literacy, which led to her spending the last five years as a Director of Student Support and Reading Interventionist. This administrative experience, paired with her recent Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, has prepared her to serve as the principal of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School.
Family is central to Mrs. Moore’s life. She is married with two adult children, both proud graduates of Juan Diego Catholic High School. Her daughter recently graduated from Utah State University with an MSW and now works as a social worker in Logan, while her son is a junior at the University of Utah studying Environmental Science. As a parent, Mrs. Moore credits Catholic education with molding her children into well-rounded, academically strong, and faith-filled adults.
In her spare time, Mrs. Moore enjoys repurposing furniture, decorating, reading, and walking her dog, Mumford. She is incredibly excited to join the Blessed Sacrament faith community!
