Mrs. Karla Vela

Mrs. Vela was born in Mexico City and worked with children from 4 to 12 years old in pedagogical courses. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching, completed three years of Bible Studies, two years of Theology, and three years of Pastoral Studies, and continues her formation in Theology. She also studied Business Administration for one year and finds it easy to work with computer programs.

She feels that God gave her a double gift by allowing her son to be part of the students at Blessed Sacrament and, at the same time, for her to be part of the school staff.

For her, working with children is a blessing and a great responsibility because “they are small seeds that are being formed; therefore, if we manage to strengthen their values, help them discover their virtues, and work on their areas of opportunity, we will be contributing to a better future.”

In Matthew 18:3 we find the following words: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
