Welcome 4th Grade!

Here in Ms. Johnson’s fourth-grade class each student learns how to be the best citizen they can be while fostering a positive classroom community. Students start practicing opinion formation based in facts, writing essays digitally, and self-guided exploration of new topics. Curriculum highlights include:

  • Utah state history
  • Rocks and minerals
  • Multi-digit multiplication and long division
  • Identifying themes and main ideas of text with supporting answers

MS. Kealey Johnson

4th Grade Teacher

Ms. Kealey Johnson

Ms. Johnson attended the University of Portland, where she studied French and Education. Following graduation, she taught primary-level English in Buzancais, France. Upon returning to the United States, she completed her Master of Arts in Teaching through the Pacific Alliance for Catholic Education at the University of Portland, and she has taught in the diocese since 2017. Originally from Missoula, Montana, Ms. Johnson loves the mountainous landscape and outdoor adventures that Utah provides. When she isn’t teaching, you’ll find her hiking, traveling, dancing, skiing, playing with her niece, or reading a good book. Ms. Johnson is proud to follow in the footsteps of many educators in her family, and believes in offering children hands-on educational experiences. She loves being a teacher and part of the Blessed Sacrament community – go bobcats!
