Mathematics
4th grade students review concepts from previous grades and learn new concepts, such as multiplication using double digits and division. Students begin learning algebra and understand place value and line and bar graphs.
Nightly homework is assigned to practice what is taught in class, as well as weekly online assignments completed through Khan Academy and MobyMax. Students demonstrate subject matter mastery through unit and chapter tests.
Ms. Johnson makes math exciting and special. She challenged the class and made us work hard.
It was fun and challenging at the same time.
